The Regnier’s wanted to do a major face lift on their existing home. It included repairing and updating the front exterior of the home and updating cabinets and finishes on the inside of the home. We talked them into adding some stone to the front of the home and installing pillars for the new columns on the front porch. We also convinced them that moving the existing stairs from the side of the porch to the front of the home would help define the front entry. In side the owner wanted to get more light and more space into the kitchen area. The existing center baring wall had to go and after a little convincing the Regnier’s agreed. This made way for a very open kitchen and living room. They loved it. We also added some additional windows to the lower level family room, new wood floors throughout the home and a decorative window from the family room to the kitchen. In addition we expanded their master bath to accommodate a larger shower. The major interior demo and reconstruction was all completed while they were south for the month of February. To prevent the disruption of the entire home we slit the project up into 3 phases each being completed in 1 to 2 months.
