The owners of this home had two problems that they wanted to solve with the addition. The first issue to solve was the front entry which was a split entry with little space and no front entry closet. The second issue was the existing master suite was above the garage and often too cold in the winter, not to mention it was on the opposite side of the lake front. We convinced them that adding an addition on the side of the home facing the lake would solve both of their problems. First we would expand the entry out to the side of the home providing a spacious front entry, closet and provide a more visible front entry to the home. The second level was added on to the lake side of the home to give them a master suite that was warm, cozy and provided views to the lake. The Suite included a large walk in closet, Master bath with walk in shower, Laundry room and a new staircase that overlooked the front entry.
